I wanted to give you a little insight into how your portraiture experience will develop over time.
If you’ve never commissioned professional portraiture before, it can feel a bit daunting.
Let this step-by-step guide help you.
step 1 – download
I’ve prepared an awesome little e-book for you to have a look through. “The Portrait Preparation Guide” Just click on the link and follow the prompts and it will be in your inbox within seconds.
It’s full of gorgeous pictures, lots of inspiration and of course lots of little tips on how to prepare for your photographic experience and get the most out of your imagery.
step 2 – book your session
Head over to the gift certificate page and choose your preferred session. Once payment is received, I’ll give you a buzz in next few days to look at our diaries and find a perfect session time for you.
step 3 – before your session
Have a look around the website. Especially the portfolio pages as this will give you a feel for the sort of clothing that works well and the type of imagery we’ll produce.
Have a think about what you’d like to create with your images in terms of photographic wall art and/or albums. Most of my imagery is very neutral and more often than not, compliments all decor, we’ll chat in detail about the end product so we know exactly what to create during the session. Have a look through the finished products page for inspiration.
Have another look through the “Portrait Preparation Guide” , if you haven’t downloaded it yet, get on it!
step 4 – your portrait session
Yay! This is where the fun really starts. But don’t worry, it’s very relaxed and we have plenty of time.
All sessions are baby-led, meaning we follow their cues. We play, we discover, we chat, we drink coffee! … I’ll direct your imagery but I won’t ‘pose’ you … most of the time my families just need a little bit of direction and then the magic happens.
step 5 – image selections
Approximately 1 week after your portrait session, we’ll come together at the studio for you to view all your images we created together.
I’ll help you choose your favourite images and advise on what works best to create your ideas from step 3. Together we’ll create something amazing for your home.
All of your artwork comes finished and ready for display, with a range of products to suit everyone’s style and budget. Matted prints start at $80, framed/canvas/timber wall art starts from $310. My collections range from $1800 – $3800 and all include the high resolution digital files from your session as my gift to you. The Finished Products page will give you more information.
step 6 – collection
Your finished wall art, prints and albums will be ready to be collected from the studio approximately 4-6 weeks after your Image Selection Session.
The artwork is made with the highest quality products available to the photographic industry and all come with a lifetime guarantee on craftsmanship.
As soon as the images are ready to be collected I’ll be in touch to arrange collection.
